This is the official account deletion page for Aim Instant Messenger, also known as AIM2025, developed and operated by Billman Productions.
This page explains how users can delete their account and associated app data.
How to delete your account in the app
Aim Instant Messenger provides an in-app account deletion option.
- Open the Aim Instant Messenger / AIM2025 app.
- Sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion request when prompted.
Once confirmed, your account deletion request is processed and your account data is removed within a reasonable period, subject to limited legal, security, or operational retention needs.
What data is deleted
- Your Aim Instant Messenger / AIM2025 user account
- Your profile information
- Your username and public profile data
- Your buddy list and categories
- Your friend request records associated with your account
- Your blocked-user list
- Your saved app-related account data stored for AIM2025 functionality
What may be retained temporarily
Some limited records may be retained temporarily where required for:
- Legal compliance
- Fraud prevention
- Security investigations
- Backup or recovery processes
Any retained information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
